今年4月，英國公布了可再生能源電力價格的保證。而這些上網(wǎng)電價差不多是市場價格的10倍,致使太陽能電池板的安裝量達到4.6兆瓦。遠比2009年全年完成的安裝量還要高。

日本最大的太陽能電池制造商-夏普公司，其在英國擁有最大的太陽能電池工廠。為進一步響應日益增加的需求，夏普計劃增加其英國工廠的生產(chǎn)。

In April, the UK released guaranteed pricing for electricity obtained from renewable sources. These feed-in tariffs represent up to ten times market prices. This created a jump in PV panel installations to 4.6 megawatts. The figure is higher than that of installations done during the entire year of 2009.

Sharp Corp., the largest manufacturer of solar cells in Japan, owns the largest solar panel plant in the UK. In response to increasing demand, Sharp plans to double production at the UK plant.
